Choosing this path of mixing fashion with a whole lot more travel from now on is a dream I am chasing. It started well this year with my first trip to Sicily in January.
My vision is to share my experiences abroad with you through my perspective in the travel diaries. I wanted to dedicate a whole article about this awesome hotel we stayed in when we made our stop in Catania at the UNA Hotel Palace. They surely made me feel like a princess during my stay, making it even harder for me to leave Sicily.
Let me start at the beginning. We parked our car in their garage beneath the hotel. We were received at the reception with useful information about Catania, while our luggage was dropped in our room. The hotel is very spacious decorated with baroque designs.
After check-in, they sent us to the roof terrace to enjoy a complimentary welcome drink together with the epic view over Catania with volcano Etna in the background. Now THAT is what I call a welcome!
I am always the most curious to see our room and it did not disappoint! Even in the room, you can see all the baroque influences in the interior. The bed was super comfy, so I slept like a baby that night.
The next day we were invited to have an upgraded breakfast on their roof terrace restaurant. And oh my gosh, I think I died and went to breakfast heaven haha. A 4-course breakfast with again that magnificent view! The chef made us some delicious delicacies from Sicilian cuisine. soooo good that I would fly back to Sicily to eat that breakfast again! 😉
