β Salvation Mountain β
There is no place like Salvation mountain. What an extraordinary piece of art in the middle of the desert (very close to the Mexican border). We drove 1,5 hours from Palm Springs to witness this place.
The artwork was created by Leonard Knight. He passed away in 2014. Nowadays a group of volunteers is preserving this place with help of donations.
I am not religious at all, but this artwork is really something that makes you think about life and somehow it was a reminder to me that anything is possible. I believe Leonardβs mission is succeeded with this love piece.
