— McArthurGlen designer outlet Roermond —
The McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Roermond is a familiar shopping area for me. At least twice a year I come to this place to hunt down treasures for a good price. Yet, every time I come here, I am surprised by new stores that have opened in the meantime. Rumor has it that the area will be expanded with a whole lot more outlet shops in the next phase. YAY! Or should I say oh OOH! Because I never leave empty-handed here, nor is that the goal of course.
With so many brands in this outlet, I go to my favorites first instead of a whole round, which is: Mulberry, Furla, Prada, Gucci, Armani, and Sandro. The truth is, this list expands with each visit.
— Trend: bold pieces —
I was asked to highlight a spring summer ’16 trend while I was here and it wasn’t hard to pick one. If I could spend money on a designer item it would be on shoes, bags, and accessories.
2015 was all about minimalistic and basics. I totally get it and agree to invest in these must-have essentials in your closet. Once you have accomplished this foundation, you can go for real statement pieces to finish your looks. I am totally up for this trend where the colors bring you spring and summer, more print is more awesome, and the quirkier the more fun. Of course in balance with your basics to stay classy. You would be surprised what a pop-up color and a quirky accessory can add to your mood.
— What did I buy —
I totally embrace this crazy trend and bought myself not 1 but 2 statement bags! I welcome the pink furry Furla Candy bag and the metallic mini Mulberry Lily bag in my ever-expanding bag collection (I counted it yesterday, including these two it’s OMG 52 babies =O). I am so happy with these eye-catchers, I can’t wait to style them in my next looks.
— VIP event —
Every half year the designer outlet organizes a VIP event for Privilege Club members. Meaning you can shop with 10% extra during these days and you will have access to the VIP lounge for drinks and bites. This week happens to be THE WEEK until March 13th. How to become a Privilege Club member? You can easily subscribe in a few minutes by filling the form –> here.
Even though you can’t make it this time, by subscribing now you will receive an invite for the next VIP event.
Good luck guys!!
