— Over-exhaustion —
My life is hectic at the moment. However, I think it’s all in my head. Feeling the first symptoms of over-exhaustion now, but slowing down doesn’t feel like an option. What to do? First, I need to finish reading my book ‘Nooit meer te druk’ (never too busy). Secondly, look for ways to relax (I am listening to piano music at the moment, I have to say that it helps to make my mind more zen:)). I wish I could tune into my vacay mode like in the USA, which feels like months ago already.
Acknowledging the fact that you are overworked is not something I like to admit. I feel like I am letting myself down. At the same time I know I have to take care of myself. But the pressure is on! Frustrations!
I promise that this is not a complaint post. Just a little reminder to myself to take it a little bit easier. The thing is that I love my job way too much. So once again, finding the balance is key.
Back to when I felt the happiest and relaxed this year, that was at Joshua Tree Park. I saw the most breathtaking sunrise in this park and later that day we had a little work out in the desert. I bravely climbed to the top of some rocks. I seriously thought I couldn’t do it. It was super scary with my little fear of heights. Somehow it never stopped me from doing things like this, because the feeling when you reach the top is indescribable. I can feel so high on the invincible pride when reaching the top. Oh, and the insane beautiful Jurassic park view is incredible right?!
— The Look —
I had my mindset on climbing the mountain. My outfit did the first job to let me believe I could do this because Nike says ‘just do it ;P Body-wise I might not totally ready for this, but I let it all go. Currently, I am in the middle of my New Fysic diet, so I hope to show you a fitter body soon and I will tell you all about it then.
