— Joshua Tree Park —
As I hear the news that it’s freezing in The Netherlands, I am happy to enjoy the desert temperatures a little bit longer. I visited one after the other amazing national parks in America by now. This time we visited a new one, Joshua Tree Park, and it quickly became my favorite so far.
There are so many things to do, you can drive around and check out the different landscapes that this park has to offer. Climb on rocks (another article about this soon). And you can enjoy breathtaking sunrise and sunset in different spots.
We were so bummed out that we missed the sunset the day before that we decided to get up early for once, at 6 am to be exact, to witness the sunrise. I rarely suggest getting up early as I am not a morning person at all, but I am so happy I did because this is beyond worth it! Don’t you agree?!

— The Look —
Funny thing is that I didn’t plan to shoot these photos. I went to this spot in my big sweater and no makeup on. But when I saw how beautiful the test pictures turned out, I happily searched our road trip car, because I left some clothes on the back seat. This dreamy dress turned out to be perfect! The cleavage was somewhat too much without any tape, so I kept my Nike sport top on, which is okayish 🙂 I really adore the result of this unexpected shoot!
