โ Palace Luzern โ
Road tripping through Switzerland is highly recommended. We drove to Luzern/Lucerne from Basel, which is about 1-hour driving. So many bucket list moments, I will show them all in a separate diary post. Today I want to show you Hotel Palace Luzern, where I stayed 2 luxurious nights. I think I have never posted so many photos of a hotel before, but this place was simply too stunning. Especially the view over the Swiss Alps is worth a million dollars.
The hotel is located on the boulevard (no car zone) of the lake next to the Casino. We parked the car in the garage for 35 CHF per day. We havenโt made use of the spa, but we did go to the gym here. All this you will see on my Youtube channelย real soon.
โ Junior Suiteย โ
When you get to stay at a 5-star hotel, you know you are in for a treat. Our keycard opened the door to this enormous junior suite and we were in awe the whole time. There was even a sound system in the bathroom, so you can still watch tv while you are relaxing in the bath.
When I woke up the first day we arranged room service for breakfast. I was pinching myself because I couldnโt get over the stunning view while eating my croissant on the balcony. Vacation mode to the fullest!

โ Lobby โ
Palace Luzern is a very classic hotel. The decoration is very royal with details to fresh flowers in every corner.
โ Breakfast buffet โ
On the second day, we went downstairs to the buffet for breakfast. A 5 stars breakfast. Needless to say, this was amazing as well. The fresh honeycomb is a really nice addition.
โ Roof Terrace โ
We also got to enjoy their roof terrace in the executive lounge. We went up here during sunset. I brought the binocular from the room and from up here I could spy all lovely details from Lucerne.
