HOTEL LE MERIDIEN MALTA

— Le Meridien Malta —

Staying a few days at Le Meridien Malta was total bliss. This hotel has everything covered. My favorite part of the hotel is the location. It’s conveniently located in a very buzzing part of Malta called San Julian. The bus stops are right downstairs. But it’s all about the view that you have over the bay and the city that makes this place unique.

Furthermore, the hotel is as complete as it can be with the restaurant and spa. It has all the facilities to make your stay very relaxed. The spa is definitely a reason to book your stay here. It has a pool downstairs with saunas and fitness. On warmer days you can enjoy the rooftop pool as well!

We also had breakfast at the buffet downstairs. The choice was enormous and fresh. You can order a customized omelet (with paprika, chorizo, tomatoes, etc.).

If you go up one floor, they just opened a new restaurant Taro. We had a delicious 3-course dinner there. As I am always looking for coffee hotspots when I am away, I didn’t have to look further this time, because restaurant Taro serves ‘Instagrammable’ coffees too! 😉

And finally, the service we had made all the difference. The staff was all very delightful and helpful. If you ever stay at Le Meridien Malta, you will love it!!

—- Executive room —

We got upgraded to an executive room on the 10th floor with a spectacular bay view. We couldn’t help to order room service and enjoy our breakfast on the balcony.
The room is very spacious with a sofa area. The bathroom has a bathtub and a shower. It was a really sweet welcome to receive a bottle of wine and some sweets in the room. It’s all about the details right? 🙂
