HOTEL EAST HONG KONG

β€” Hotel East β€”

Hotel East is very much focused to make your (business) trip as efficient and comfortable as possible, combining it with amazing art and designs. The hotel is located on the East side of Hong Kong island, right next to an MTR station, a perfect hub to get to any other place in Hong Kong. It’s also attached to the big Cityplaza mall, where food and shopping are very well represented.
AΒ typhoon 8 hit Hong Kong while we were staying at HotelΒ East, staying inside was strongly advised. So you can imagine how convenient it was to have direct access to all this next to the hotel facilities.

Too bad we couldn’t dive into the rooftop pool due to the weather circumstances, because it was very tempting with the concrete building view. There is also a gym to keep you in shape.

The food at Hotel East should be a separate article. Although we only had the breakfast (buffet), there are two other venues where you can have a drink, snack, or meal. I thought it was very cool that they have their own vegetable and herbs garden on the rooftop.

β€” Harbour view room β€”

Next to all the amazing facilities, it’s essentially about the room. Well, I highly recommend you book the room with the harbor view. The room is modern, very spacious with big windows. The bed passed the sleeping test with an A. Also, you find a desk to get your business done.
The coolest extra is the mobile phone in the room that you can bring anywhere with you during your stay, to use as a hotspot for the internet and making (long-distance) phone calls!
