Hotel & Brasserie Katoen

It’s safe to say that Hotel Katoen is the best hotel to stay at in Goes. It was the only hotel I wanted to review in the area and it did not disappoint. I met one of the owners briefly and she told me enthusiastically about their business and the future plans. It’s not just a hotel, it’s a concept that they slowly want to roll out into a brand in the future and I admire those ambitions. I’m sure it will be a great success!

Everywhere you find nice little details of cotton (translation of Katoen) from the menu, bottle of water to interior decorations. There are only 23 rooms in this boutique hotel with a lot of character.
Hotel Katoen is a hotel, but also has a restaurant that is attached to it with an outside terrace. The menu is amazing and a true hotspot according to locals. It’s located centrally, within walking distance of everything (Goes is not that big ;)).

For the ultimate zen moment, you can book the private spa. It has a Turkish steamer, sauna, and a Jacuzzi. Towels and slippers are provided.

(Junior) suite

We stayed in the second biggest suite of the hotel. It was a very spacious and amazing interior design. The bathroom floor is heated! The room has high ceilings plus a little kitchen. Perfect for a romantic getaway!
