I have always wanted to stay at a castle-like a princess. Chateau Clément is an epic place to stay to fulfill my wish. The castle is from the 19th century and it’s recently renovated. Every single room is different. You can stay in very modern rooms, but we chose the more classic suite to stay for two nights. Breakfast is optional, but if you like, you can enjoy a lovely organic breakfast for €17.

I loved it that the manager is so personal, making you feel at home in her castle. The swimming pool is also a selling point with the beautiful sight of the castle.
It’s a perfect balance of modern and old. Next time I would love to stay at the loft with an indoor pool! 😉

— Suite Marie-Antoinette —

This suite is really big with high ceilings. Next to the bedroom, there is also a huge living room with a little kitchen. It has a beautiful view of the valley. I was also fond of the bathroom that also has a nice view over the garden. The room keys are real castle keys in “gold”, which I think is a really nice detail to the castle vibe.
Attached to the living room there is a door to a little kitchen space with a fridge. We discovered this the day we left though 😀
