โ B&B Ca La Maria โ
Iwent to Barcelona for 3 days and stayed at Hotel Ca La Maria. This Bed & Breakfast hotel scores super high on recommendations, which brings high expectations.
Itโs a very unique place to stay, in Barcelona, that feels homey (with in total only 6 different rooms) but with service better than most hotels. Itโs really the personal touch with the local knowledge that gets 100 points.
The location is central, walking distance to the metro and many (high end) boutiques. When you enter the doorway downstairs, you canโt imagine how big this place is. There is a public living room, where you can have free coffee, tea, candy, home made cakes and watch a movie on big screen if you want to. Walking in the garden, you find yourself in a huge tranquil place in the middle of the city.
The owner, Maria, started this place, pure from passion to host and to bake (hence the home made cakes and more). So if you want to avoid the really touristy Barcelona, you would love to stay here and learn about the best places to go to from the team, while enjoying a fantastic stay for sure!
โ The suite โ
I stayed at the biggest suite, which fits a whole family, with 2-bed rooms. The design is modern with a Spanish touch. The high ceilings are really gorgeous. The bathroom is so cool in a long hallway that ends with a sofa area. From the suite, you can go outside on your balcony with street view. One of the most beautiful rooms that I have stayed in so far.
Itโs really the personal touch with the local knowledge that gets 100 points..
