MAHJONG HOUSE
On October 25, we will host a mahjong afternoon as part of the Asia Hub’s special program during Amsterdam Dance Event 2026. SALON188 will transform the art gallery into a stunning Mahjong House. French-Chinese DJ and artist Ache Wang (Achetray) will be reinventing Chinese emblematic tracks blending to pop culture, perfect for a mahjong house vibe. It’s going to be epic!
DRINK, EAT & PLAY
Join us on an afternoon around the tables with great company, food, drinks, music, and art.
All levels are welcome. We’ll seat you at the right table. We’ll be playing Hong Kong style by default, but feel free to play other variations if everyone at your table agrees. We will provide the mahjong sets and tables, so all you have to do is sit back, enjoy the vibes, and win as much as you can.
* Please note: This is not a workshop. You should already know the basics of how to play mahjong independently. Although, we are there for all your questions and support if you still need some guidance.
Please let us know if you just want to join the event, even though you can’t play mahjong. We will make it work 😉

Tickets
There are 3 different time slots 13.00-15.00 / 15.00 – 17.00 / 17.00-19.00.
- 1x bolo bao (pineapple bun) or a char siew bao (sweet pork bun).
- 1x gin&tonic with Saigon Baigur Gin or 1x Chinese matcha by Cha Moods Tea.
We will ask about your level so we can seat you at the same level if we can. If the next sloth is not full, we will offer you the opportunity to play a little bit longer. You are also welcome to stay as long as you want to enjoy the Mahjong House vibes.

Bolo boa (pineapple bun) or a char siew boa (sweet pork bun) will be served.
Unfortunately, we don’t have a vegan option this time.
There are some small snacks on the table, which is included in your ticket.
One gin&tonic with Saigon Baigur Gin or a Chinese matcha by Cha Moods Tea is included in your ticket.
More drinks can be purchased on-site.

By registering for and participating in the Mahjong Workshop (the “Workshop”) organized by Hashtag by Lily (“we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to the following terms and conditions:

•A completed registration form and full payment are required to secure your spot.
•All prices are stated in EUR and include VAT unless otherwise specified.
•We reserve the right to cancel your participation if payment is not received on time.

2. Cancellations & Refunds
•Cancellations by Participants:
•Cancellations up to 7 days before the event will receive a full refund.
•Cancellations made within 7 days of the event are non-refundable.
•Cancellations by Organizer:
If we must cancel the Workshop due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., illness, low attendance, force majeure), participants will receive a full refund or be offered an alternative date.

•Please arrive on time to ensure a smooth experience for all participants.
•No refunds will be issued for late arrivals or no-shows.

4. Health & Safety
•Participants are expected to follow all health and safety guidelines communicated before or during the event.
•We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove participants who display inappropriate behavior or pose a risk to others.

5. Photography & Media
•Photos or videos may be taken during the Workshop for promotional use on our website and social media.
•If you do not wish to appear in any media, please inform us in writing before the event.

•We are not liable for any injuries, losses, or damages incurred during the Workshop.
•Participants are responsible for their personal belongings.
