Today we sat for 40 stops on the bus to visit Mdina. I saw this blue door with purple flowers on Pinterest that I had to find. Within the Mdina walls, we shot 2 outfits for the blog that you will see soon enough and we had a tea with an amazing view. Mdina is a must-visit if you are in Malta guys!

โ Breakfast buffet โ
At the buffet, I can choose my Newfycic breakfast carefully. I only had to bring 3 crackers with me.
โ Bus life โ
40(!) bus stops to Mdina. The ride was about 1 hour. I fell asleep during the trip, but you will pass byย cute villages on your way.
โ Local selection โ
Next to the Mdina is Rabat. We stopped here for a coffee and a snack. This cute little restaurant is the perfect place for that. People ordered wine to enjoy it outside on the terrace. Esmee ordered local cheese and sausage.
โ Mdina โ
Mdina was Instagram heaven for me with all the beautiful doors. I made it a mission to find the blue door with purple flowers. We found it at the end!
If you wander within the big wall itโs like you are going back in time. This is definitely worth your time to visit if you are in Malta.
โ Tea breakย โ
We had tea at Palazzo de Piro to warm up a little bit. We didnโt know it was just next to Fontanella. I would recommend the other one though (Fontanella). I wasnโt so fond of the service at this place.

โ Tea room with a view and best chocolate cakeย โ
The best place to sit down within the Mdina walls is at Fontanella. Please order the chocolate cake here and enjoy the beautiful view on their terrace.

Nigel joined us for dinner. The mirror selfie was appropriate ๐
โ Zest โ
We read a lot of great reviews about this restaurant to have sushi and other Asian dishes. Itโs a more upper-class restaurant. The food and service were exquisite!
